1.

There have been 21 occurrences of a pitcher winning 30 or more games in one season. The feat was accomplished by a total of 13 guys. The list of guys is like a pitchers' roll call for the Hall of Fame: Christy Mathewson, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Lefty Grove and Dizzy Dean, to name several. But three 30-game winners aren't in the Hall of Fame. Can you name them

2.

Five guys in the modern era won 30 or more games in a season more than once. Can you name them? And can you name the guy who did it four times?

The list of pitchers with 3,000 or more strikeouts has become quite lengthy in recent years. Clemens is ineligible for the Hall, of course. Can you name the only eligible pitcher with 3,000 career Ks who's not in the Hall of Fame?

6.

Can you name the Hall of Famer who's the only pitcher with 3,000 career strikeouts and less than 1,000 career walks?

7.

Other than the still-active Clemens, can you name the pitcher on the 3,000-career-strikeout list with the fewest career wins?

There have been a total of 39 pitchers who pitched 20 or more seasons. Nineteen are in the Hall of Fame. Among the lesser-known Hall of Famers who pitched in 20 or more campaigns are Red Faber, Eppa Rixey, Clark Griffith, Herb Pennock and Ted Lyons. We'll also give you Red Ruffing, Waite Hoyt, Hoyt Wilhelm and Early Wynn. Can you name the other 10 Hall of Fame pitchers who pitched 20 or more big-league seasons?

In 1997, when Nomar Garciaparra had over 200 hits in his first season, he became only the 13th rookie in the modern era with 200 hits. Yet, in 1964, two rookies bettered the 200-hit mark in the same season! Can you name these two prolific rookie hitters?
